Giulia made an immediate impact on her first appearance on weekly NXT, laying out Chelsea Green and challenging NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez to a match on the NXT on CW premiere.
The segment started with Roxanne coming out to gloat about returning her NXT Women's Title at NXT No Mercy.
Perez said that she is smashing records in NXT, surpassing the likes of IYO SKY and Asuka. Perez said that she is the dream match, and it doesn't matter if they are a former champion, the future, or the hottest free agent in wrestling, they are not on Roxanne's level.
Chelsea was interrupted by Chelsea Green, who laughed and asked, "Were you expecting someone else?" Chelsea said that nobody, not Nick Aldis or Ava, could tell her that she isn't the number one contender for the NXT Women's Title.
Giulia then made her way to the ring and knocked out Chelsea with a forearm and a knee strike. She then stood face to face with Perez and challenged her to a match on the October 1st episode of NXT, which is the CW premiere.
