The legends hit the road again.
Professional wrestlers from the 80s and 90s have often made a career after their time in the ring out of telling their stories from the road. First through shoot interviews and then through the advent of podcasting, wrestling fans have often enjoyed hearing stories from behind the scenes with all of their favorite professional wrestlers going up and down the road while working 300 days a year.
Now, a new reality series being produced by Jung Guns Entertainment sees The Godfather and Nasty Boy Brian Knobbs recounting stories from the road and teasing future guests appearing on the show to do the same.
Called “Tales from the Road,” the new series will be produced by another wrestling legend, Chavo Guerrero, as Jung Guns Entertainment announced earlier this year.
We are thrilled to announce that professional wrestling Superstar, Chavo Guerrero, will be joining JUNG GUNS ENTERTAINMENT as a Producer and overseeing storylines for “Tales from the Road.” Chavo has an impressive background working in the movie and television industry. Most noted on the Emmy award winning series “GLOW ” and is currently working on the series “YOUNG ROCK.”
Chavo Guerrero is a 20-year, third generation veteran of the professional wrestling industry who became a 2-Time WCW Cruiserweight Champion, a former 1-Time WCW Tag-Team Champion and a 4-Time WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
JUNG GUNS ENTERTAINMENT is excited to have a legendary wrestling superstar on this upbeat, entertaining new series focused on compelling Road Tales, told by legendary professional wrestlers.
The trailer for the series (embedded above) shows The Godfather recounting some of the stories he told on the Broken Skull Sessions with Steve Austin, such as when Yokozuna threw The Godfather's country music tape how's the window of a car and when he and The Undertaker had to drive through a blizzard while working in the Memphis wrestling territory.
Brian Knobbs also teases future guests such as Bret Hart and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. Recently, Brian Knobbs has undergone some health issues. You can learn more about those and how to help at this link.
