Two segments have been announced for the October 2 episode of WWE Raw.
As announced on the September 25 episode, WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther and Tommaso Ciampa will sign the contract for a title match. The date for the bout was not specified. Ciampa has defeated Gunther's stablemates Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser in recent weeks, as he has set his sights on the gold. On September 25, Gunther vowed to deal with Ciampa himself.

Additionally, Tegan Nox will challenge for the NXT Championship. She will face the winner of the title match between Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton at NXT No Mercy on September 30. Nox beat Natalya on the September 25 episode of WWE Raw to earn a shot at the gold.
