Gunther will celebrate making history on WWE Raw.
Gunther has officially surpassed The Honky Tonk Man's record for the longest Intercontinental Championship reign in WWE history, as he has held the gold for 454 days. He won the championship by defeating Ricochet on the June 10, 2022, episode of WWE SmackDown.
WWE announced that Gunther's record-breaking Intercontinental Championship celebration will be held on the September 11 episode of WWE Raw.

Gunther previously defeated Chad Gable to retain the title on the September 4 episode of WWE Raw.
