Alex Hammerstone may have used nefarious means, but he defeated Josh Alexander to win his first match as a contracted wrestler under the TNA Wrestling banner.
Josh Alexander scored a victory over Alexander Hammerstone at TNA Hard To Kill. The rematch between Hammerstone and Alexander took place at TNA Sacrifice and this time, Hammerstone is now a contracted TNA performer.
Hammer would get his win back over Alexander at TNA Sacrifice, in part because he took advantage of a downed referee in order to deliver a low blow to the former TNA Wrestling World Champion.

With this win, Alex Hammerstone has seemingly started his TNA Wrestling career off on the right foot, despite the abrupt change in character.
