Hammerstone returned to TNA Wrestling and lost to a TNA Original at TNA Slammiversary.
Hammerstone returned to TNA for the Countdown show of TNA Slammiversary. On the show, Hammerstone lost to Eric Young. This was the first time Hammerstone had wrestled on TNA programming since May. Hammerstone wrestled on the May 2 episode of TNA iMPACT! On that episode, he defeated Cody Deaner before getting into a brawl with Jake Something. After being deemed medically uncleared to compete, he was pulled from TNA Under Siege.
Young defeated Hammerstone with a roll-up after countering the Torture Rack. Post-match, Young addressed the Montreal crowd and discussed the importance of TNA after 22 years in business.
HUGE Elbow Drop from @TheEricYoung!
