Baron Corbin talks about Johnny Knoxville's involvement in WWE.
WWE has been working with Johnny Knoxville on this year's Road to WrestleMania. He has been antagonizing Sami Zayn, going so far as to broadcast Sami Zayn's private number over the beach in LA.
Speaking on the Johnny Dare Morning Show, Baron Corbin called this act one of the funniest things he’s ever seen.
"He's also done one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Because he's facing Sami Zayn at Mania, and he flew Sami Zayn's cell phone number over the beach in LA and put it on TMZ and all those things and Sami's phone is in the locker room while we're doing the show, and it rings and gets texts and FaceTimes 24/7. It's so funny because he can't even answer calls at times because so many calls are coming in. His text messages said like 9,000-something text messages, and then it just went to an exclamation point," Corbin said.
Corbin then reflected on his time being friends with Johnny Knoxville and other members of the Jackass crew. Corbin says he was friends with Ryan Dunn and used to spend time around Johnny Knoxville.
"Yeah, because I don't know how you take him down," Corbin said. "Yeah, I've been around them, I used to be really good friends with Ryan Dunn and would run around those guys and them like, hitting each other with a cattle prod, you know, between sets of filming the show and stuff like that. I'm like, 'Dude, don't you just take a timeout ever?' They don't. I just don't know how you win this war with him."
