An update on The Ace.
Hiroshi Tanahashi sent out a tweet letting fans know that he has been discharged from the hospital following left elbow surgery. There was no update on when he will return to the ring. Tanahashi simply stated, "I will do my best to return."
Tanahashi last wrestled at ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard on Apr. 6, losing to Zack Sabre Jr. in a bout where the RPW British Heavyweight Championship was on the line. On Apr. 8, he was pulled from the ongoing Road to Wrestling Dontaku tour as a result of his injury. He is not currently booked for the Wrestling Dontaku events in May.
