Ring Of Honor -- more specifically Being The Elite -- have announced a huge match for ROH Supercard Of Honor XII.
Former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Kenny Omega will take on former Ring of Honor World Champion Cody in a match that pits two top Bullet Club members against one another. The story between the two has unfolded across ROH, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Being the Elite programming, dating all the way back to last Summer.
Cody took on Omega's friend Kota Ibushi at January's Wrestle Kingdom show, but couldn't defeat Ibushi. Later that month, Omega ran to the rescue of Ibushi, who would return the favor when Cody and Hangman Page brutally attacked Omega at New Beginning.
ROH Supercard of Honor XII takes place Saturday, April 7, 2018, and will go head-to-head with NXT Takeover: New Orleans on WrestleMania weekend. Hiroshi Tanahashi had also signed to appear at the event, but it's unclear if he'll be able to make it due to his recent injuries.
