Hulk Hogan: John Cena Would’ve Been One Of The Greatest Heels Ever

John Cena is regarded as one of the greatest babyfaces of all time and as the face of WWE for over a decade beginning in 2005.

Throughout his entire run on top, Cena remained steadfast in his belief of Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect.

Hulk Hogan has a generational run as a babyface in the 80s and early 90s before turning heel and joining the NWO in 1996 when his babyface star began to fade.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Hogan was asked if he thought Cena should've turned heel.

"In my opinion, I think John would’ve been one of the greatest heels ever because he was such a great babyface. You repent. After you’ve cut everybody’s throats, stolen all the money, and cheated, then when you repent and beg for forgiveness, the wrestling fans will make you an even bigger babyface," said Hogan.

Cena gave a brief glimpse into what he'd look like as heel during the Firefly Fun House match against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36.

Elsewhere during the interview, Hogan commented on being booed at WWE Raw on Netflix premiere. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
