Ilja Dragunov Beats Trick Williams, Bron Breakker Spears Von Wagner | NXT Fight Size

Here's your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on August 22, 2023.

- Trick Williams took on Ilja Dragunov. Williams delivered a valiant effort, but the former NXT UK Champion clinched the hard-fought win.

TNA Knockouts Title Match, Kazarian vs. Rhino, The Hardys, More Set For Next Thursday's TNA iMPACT!

- Von Wagner was set to face Baron Corbin. Corbin attacked Wagner during his entrance, and they brawled at ringside. Bron Breakker leveled Wagner and stood tall.

- The Family (Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo) kicked of WWE NXT in style.

- Carmelo Hayes defeated Wes Lee to retain the NXT Championship in a match that made history, as it marked the first time two Black men competed for the title in the main event of WWE NXT.

- Rhea Ripley made a surprise appearance and attacked Rhea Ripley. In doing so, she helped Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria defeat Ripley and Dominik Mysterio.

- Noam Dar defeated Nathan Frazer to win the NXT Heritage Cup Championship.

- Ava faced Ivy Nile in her first singles match on TV. Nile scored the victory and fought Schism off after the bell. Two masked members of the group carried Ava away after the bell.

- NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton came to the ring and discussed her title win. She said she would go down as one of the best NXT Women’s Champions of all time. Gigi Dolin confronted her, but Kiana James interrupted, as did Blair Davenport. Roxanne Perez joined the fray. The contenders brawled.

- Ava called out Ivy Nile to face her. The masked members of Schism revealed that they were the Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed). The duo proceeded to challenge The Dyad (Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler) to a Steel Cage Match.

- Mustafa Ali approached Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley and cracked some jokes.

- Noam Dar announced that the Global Heritage Invitational will begin on the August 29 episode of WWE NXT.

- Thea Hail expressed her frustration after her loss last week. Jacy Jayne gave her credit for her growth and gave her some advice. She told Hail she would get through it.

- NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton commented on the criticism to her naming Becky Lynch as a former NXT Women's Champion. She said that Lynch was irrelevant.

- Grayson Waller was backstage at WWE NXT, and he took a picture with Dominik Mysterio.

- Dijak was impressed by Trick Wiliams, as he claimed that Trick will be a megastar.

- Dragon Lee made it clear that a rematch for Dominik Mysterio's NXT North American Championship.

- Carmelo Hayes shared a picture he took with Big E.

- Raquel Rodriguez commented on her return to NXT in an NXT Exclusive.

- Carmelo Hayes said making history with Wes Lee was an honor.

- Becky Lynch teased that she could target the NXT Women's Championship.
