The IMPACT World Title will be on the line at Sacrifice 2022.
After defeating W. Morrissey at No Surrender, Moose opened the February 24 episode of IMPACT Wrestling by saying that he is the only champion in wrestling that needs to be acknowledged. He believes that anyone who faces him is bound to have their world go up in flames.
These comments brought out Heath, who took exception with the fact that Moose was making jokes despite IMPACT being in a battle with Honor No More. Heath challenged Moose to a match for the belt at Sacrifice on March 5, but before he could answer, a brawl broke out when Moose said he didn't care about IMPACT, Heath, or his ugly kids.
Moments later, IMPACT Executive Scott D'Amore approached Moose backstage and expressed his disappointment in what he heard. He then made the title match against Heath at Sacrifice official.
