Indi Hartwell's reign comes to an end.
On Tuesday's NXT, Indi Hartwell announced that she would be vacating the NXT Women's Championship. Hartwell was on crutches, stemming from an injury suffered at NXT Spring Breakin' in a triple threat bout against Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton. Hartwell said she was suffering from a high ankle sprain.
Hartwell was also drafted to WWE Raw during the 2023 WWE Draft.
With the title vacant, a tournament will begin on the May 9 episode of NXT and conclude at NXT Battleground, where a new NXT Women's Champion will be crowned.
Hartwell reunited with Dexter Lumis, who carried her away. With the title vacated, a multitude of women hit the ring to participate in a show-closing brawl.
