Blood and Guts is finally going to happen in All Elite Wrestling.
March 25, 2020 was supposed to be the day that AEW debuted Blood and Guts, their take on the old-school War Games match concept from the National Wrestling Alliance. However, because of the emerging global pandemic, the match was halted for the foreseeable future. Now, it is finally going to happen.
Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle faction return to last week and bloodied Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s Pinnacle faction. This week, Chris Jericho and company entered through the babyface tunnel way and Chris Jericho proceeded to verbally eviscerate his former stablemate and MJF’s new friends.
Among the verbal jabs, Jericho said that Tully Blanchard is a third string member of The Four Horsemen in the vein of Paul Roma, state that both members ofFTR are completely interchangeable, and Jericho mocked the hair of Shawn Spears and discussed his inability to live up to his own potential.
FIRST TIME EVER!! May 5th @dailysplace it's a #BloodAndGuts Match between #InnerCircle & #Pinnacle!
