Three matches have been announced for the June 24 episode of WWE SmackDown.
First, Gunther will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Ricochet, from whom he won the title last week. Ludwig Kaiser said that Ricochet represents everything wrong with America, 'Too much flash and not enough substance.' They claim that another American will never hold the title again.
Additionally, qualifying for the men's and women's Money In The Bank Ladder Matches will continue. On the men's side, Sami Zayn will face Shinsuke Nakamura, while Shotzi and Aliyah will face off for the fifth spot in the women's bout.
