The second set of matches for the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship tournament kicks off with Isaiah "Swerve" Scott winning his first match.
Kicking off tonight's episode of NXT, Scott defeated El Hijo Del Fantasma. The result means both men's records are 1-1 and tied for second place.

Another tournament match that took place on NXT was Drake Maverick picking up his first tournament win as well, defeating Tony Nese. Maverick's record now stands at 1-1 while Nese sits at 0-2, mathematically eliminating him from advancing to the finals.

Below are the updated standings for each group. All wrestlers will face the other wrestlers in their respective group and after each wrestler has completed three matches, the one with the best record in each group advances to the finals.

- Akira Tozawa: 1-0
- El Hijo Del Fantasma: 1-1
