IShowSpeed made a surprise appearance in the men's Royal Rumble, taking the place of Akira Tozawa, who was attacked while making his entrance.
IShowSpeed helped Bron Breakker eliminate Otis, and then was cut in half by a spear from Breakker. Breakker press slammed him over the top rope, where he was caught by Otis.
Otis then tossed IShowSpeed over his head and onto the announce table.
Backstage, IShowSpeed showed off his injuries.
