Ivar has his sights set on Oba Femi and the NXT North American Championship.
NXT North American Champion Oba Femi came to the ring on the April 9 episode of WWE NXT and celebrated his successful defense at NXT Stand & Deliver, where he beat Dijak and Josh Briggs. He noted that he had cemented his place at the top of the mountain, and he was inevitable.
WWE Raw star Ivar then made a surprise appearance and interrupted Femi. He highlighted the hard-hitting match Femi had at NXT Stand & Deliver and noted that he was jealous, as that was the kind of fight that he lived for, and he wanted to be in it. Ivar told Femi that he was the one who could take Femi down and dethrone him.

Femi brushed him off and tried to talk away, but Ivar got in his way. The champion headbutted Ivar, but the Viking Raider gained the upper hand and left the champion lying.

The appearance marked Ivar's return to NXT. He is a former NXT Tag Team Champion with Erik. The duo moved to the main roster in 2019. Ivar previously made a surprise appearance on the November 28, 2023 episode of NXT during his feud with Bronson Reed.
