Vidal confirmed the news on social media.

I asked for and was granted my release from TNA Wrestling. I appreciate the memories I made and the people I've met while I was there. As an LGBTQ+ Wrestler I believe that representation matters, but PROPER representation should be above all. I'll keep doing my part to show the world that an openly gay man can be featured prominently on TV. I'm looking forward to the next chapter in my wrestling journey. With that being said, stay tuned. Cause I'm about to go as hard as l've ever gone in this business

Vidal had not wrestled on TNA iMPACT! since August.

He was most notably aligned with Gisele Shaw as part of her entourage. Shaw left TNA in September.
