James Ellsworth better be ready for Asuka.
James Ellsworth inserted himself in the Smackdown Women's Championship scene at Money in the Bank when he interfered in a match between Carmella and Asuka by helping Carmella defend her Championship.
Last week on Smackdown, Asuka got physical with the self-appointed Intergender Champion James Ellsworth and then this week Ellsworth was on the microphone and took off his shirt to declare he is "ready for Asuka." Smackdown General Manager Paige joined him to set up a Smackdown Women's Championship match for Extreme Rules between Asuka and Carmella but also set up a match between Ellsworth and Asuka for next week.
This will be James Ellsworth's second Intergender match in WWE after facing Becky Lynch in 2017 before being cut by WWE. After he left WWE he created the Intergender Championship to defend in independent promotions.
