Janel Grant's Representatives Ask WWE To Waive NDAs For Former Employees In Lawsuit Against Vince McMahon

Representatives for Janel Grant are asking nondisclosure agreements to be waived in their lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. Grant is accusing McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking.

Waiving the NDAs would allow former and current employees and contractors to potentially come forward with allegations.

“If WWE and its parent company Endeavor are serious about parting ways with Vince McMahon and the toxic workplace culture he created, their executives should have no problem with releasing former WWE employees from their NDAs,” Ann Callis, Grant’s attorney, said in a statement to the Associated Press. “This is the first step to rehabilitating a company that covered up decades of sexual assault and human trafficking.”

A spokesperson for McMahon, Curtis Vogel, declined to comment.

McMahon has denied the allegations.

In July 2022, the Wall Street Journal reported four women signed NDAs with McMahon.

Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit in January against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking. On May 30, Grant agreed to pause the lawsuit for six months while the federal investigation continued against McMahon, who resigned from TKO/WWE following the lawsuit being filed.
