Jay White Defeats Hangman Adam Page At AEW WrestleDream

Jay White has extracted his first piece of revenge since returning to AEW.

After Hangman Page moved on from Swerve Strickland following All Out, he found himself in the crosshairs of Juice Robinson. While trying to hang Robinson on the October 2nd edition of AEW Dynamite, Jay White would return to AEW and start his plan for revenge against AEW's resident cowboy before the pair met at October 12th's AEW WrestleDream event.

The two men would kick off the show, with Jay coming to the ring alone for the bout with Page. The match was a physical one from the get go, with White being the heavy crowd favorite. White would control the early stages, with Hangman turning the tables with a Death Valley Driver on the apron. This would begin a period of the match with Hangman targeting White on the ramp and stage.

Hangman would try to use his belt, resulting in White spitting on Page and hitting a knee breaker on the ramp in response. White would re-take control of the match following the attack on Page's knee, before a Dead Eye disrupted White's momentum. Page would attempt a Buckshot Lariat, with White countering the move into a Blade Runner for the victory.
