Jay White Explains AEW Appearance, Wants To Unite And Rejuvenate Bullet Club

Jay White walked through the forbidden door on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, attacking Trent Beretta in the production lot area with Adam Cole and the Young Bucks.

White has been all over the place in America, showing up at NJPW STRONG and IMPACT before coming to AEW.

Speaking to John Rocha, Aaron Turner and Chris Burns, White discussed his appearance on AEW Dynamite.

"The invitation came through from my good buddy Adam Cole. He reached out to me and asked me if I would like to come and maybe give the Young Bucks a hand, as he said. It was the right time because the right person asked," he said.

When asked about his goals as he shows up across various promotions, White said, "What I'm doing is really trying to rejuvenate Bullet Club in the way that I truly see it. People can sometimes say whether they think Bullet Club is stale or not, especially since my absence from Japan with the likes of EVIL and the House of Torture trying to say they are still Bullet Club and Bullet Club has done [downhill]. I put it on myself to go to IMPACT and New Japan STRONG and AEW to prove that Bullet Club runs through me."

White hasn't wrestled in Japan since May 2021.

There has been a divide in Bullet Club over the years as the group split from The Elite. Tama Tonga has thrown shots at Kenny Omega and other members of the Elite as well.

With White and Cole seemingly on the same page, maybe Bullet Club can be united.

"Why can't Adam Cole and the Bucks throw up the Too Sweet again? Maybe if I'm the one that is extending the olive branch and trying to make it work, maybe they'll be more open to it. We're obviously off to a good start. Why can't we have the Bullet Club united across AEW, New Japan, and IMPACT?" he said.

White is set to make his AEW in-ring debut on the February 18 episode of AEW Rampage when he faces Trent.

He will face Eric Young at IMPACT No Surrender on February 19.
