John Bradshaw Layfield comments on potentially working with Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
John Bradshaw Layfield and Maxwell Jacob Friedman take great pride in being hated heels. JBL was nearly WWE Champion for a year in 2004. MJF held the AEW World Championship for over a year, from 2022 to 2023.
During MJF's recent "American Hero" run, he and Bradshaw had a playful exchange on social media. However, as far as working together on screen, JBL says that he's not sure if it'll happen, but he is a fan of the man who considers himself to be a "Generational Talent."
Bradshaw talked about MJF, comparing him to Randy Orton, during a recent Sportskeeda Q&A
"I’m a big fan of MJF. I’ve told this story a few times. I met him in England one time and got to ride in the airport with him and spent part of the day with him for a signing. Big fan of his. He’s a really smart guy, a sharp guy. He’s a great talent. One thing I love about guys, is look at the kind of shape they get in. Look at Randy Orton right now. He’s changed his character by getting into incredible shape. MJF is in incredible shape. That tells me he has a real passion and love for the business. I have no idea about working with him. He’s in AEW and it sounds like he’s about to be a movie star now."
