JBL tries to explain another Vince McMahon-ism.
Before being removed from the world of wrestling, fans often criticized and mocked Vince McMahon's decision to specifically use the term 'Local Medical Facility' instead of 'Hospital' on WWE programming.
With the relaxed nature of rules in today's WWE, on-screen personalities have used a number of different terms to describe a hospital. While appearing on the latest episode of Something To Wrestle, JBL talked about McMahon's weird term obsession.
"I never understood that. Vince wanted to keep things on a more cerebral level. I think that was the reason for the medical center. Plus, he didn’t want people to call the hospital. He didn’t want people to say ‘He’s at the Baltimore Hospital,’ because ]they] would call the hospital. If you say, ‘He’s at a local medical center,’ you have no idea where he went. You have the plausible deniability."
