JD Drake is back on AEW television.
Drake had been sidelined in recent months; in July, Anthony Henry announced that JD had torn a ligament in his foot. Meanwhile, Anthony Henry suffered a torn bicep earlier in October, and he underwent surgery.
On the October 25th episode of AEW Rampage, BEEF was asked about Henry's injury, and he noted that he was sidelined. JD Drake interrupted and gave BEEF some encouragement. BEEF then faced The Beast Mortos in a singles match, and Drake accompanied him to the ring. RUSH interfered and helped Mortos won the match. After the bell, RUSH, Dralistico, and Mortos ganged up on BEEF. Drake tried to help, but RUSH choked him with a camera cord.

Drake last wrestled at the May 30th taping of AEW Collision, where he and Anthony Henry lost to Daniel Garcia and Katsuyori Shibata.
