United Empire members Jeff Cobb & Callum Newman captured the IWGP Tag Team Championships at NJPW Sakura Genesis.
They defeated Los Ingobernables de Japon mates Tetsuya Naito & Hiromu Takahashi.
The finish saw Newman and Cobb double team Naito with a knee and vertical suplex combo for the victory.

This marks the first reign as IWGP Tag Team Champions for Cobb & Newman. It is Cobb's third reign overall with the titles. Naito & Takahashi held the titles for 53 days and made zero successful title defenses.
