Jeff Cobb is the new NJPW TV Champion.
On May 3rd at Wrestling Dontaku 2024, Zack Sabre Jr would put his NJPW TV Title on the line for the first time since capturing the belt in his second reign against United Empire's Jeff Cobb. As the matchup nearly reached its 15 minute time limit, Cobb would hit Sabre Jr with Tour Of The Islands, pinning Sabre Jr to capture his first NJPW singles title since 2019.

Over the past year, Sabre Jr and Cobb have faced off in several singles matches, with their rivalry culminating at Wrestling Dontaku. Sabre Jr captured the NJPW TV title from Matt Riddle on April 12th at NJPW Windy City Riot, holding the title for less than a month in his second reign.
