Jeff Hardy On AEW Debut: It Felt Extremely Right

Jeff Hardy officially joined AEW on Wednesday's Dynamite, saving his brother Matt Hardy, Sting, and Darby Allin from an attack at the hands of Andrade El Idolo, The Butcher, The Blade, and Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen).

Hardy was released by WWE in December and him signing with AEW and been heavily hinted at by Matt in the following 90 days.

Appearing at a Signed by Superstars virtual signing, Hardy commented on his AEW debut.

"It was great. It's always nerve-racking to appear in a new world. After I went out there and felt the energy of the people. It felt extremely right," he said.

When asked if he prefers singles competition or teaming with his brother, Jeff said, "Definitely teaming with Matt again. This last run is going to be the best one."

AEW got the rights to "Loaded," which has been used on various platforms and wasn't owned by WWE for Jeff's debut. When asked about a singles theme for him, Jeff said, "Possibly bringing 'Another Me' back from TNA. What would be really cool is if they could get the rights to 'No More Words' because I was really excited to come out to that for when (Matt & I) aren't teaming."

Along with being in AEW, The Hardyz will be making various Independent appearances in the coming weeks. He noted that fans will get Hardyz vs. Young Bucks, "for sure. Cinematically, Too Sweet vs. Delete."

Jeff was also asked about working with CM Punk again. He replied, "Very excited, there is so much history there."

Punk and Hardy famously feuded over the WWE World Heavyweight Title in 2009.
