Jeff Hardy Announced For GCW My Name Is

Jeff Hardy is coming to GCW.

Game Changer Wrestling announced that Hardy will come to GCW for the first time at the GCW My Name Is event in Detroit on August 4. GCW subsequently stated that Hardy will be appearing in person on the show, but he is not wrestling. Hardy will also perform a concert at the venue after the GCW event, but the concert will be separate admission.

Hardy last wrestled at an independent wrestling show in May 2022; he competed at MCW Spring Fever on May 15.

GCW My Name Is will also feature Lio Rush, Mike Bailey, Komander, Joey Janela, Blake Christian, and more.

Hardy has been sidelined since the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he and Matt Hardy lost to The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn). Jay White and Juice Robinson attacked The Hardys after the match. Fightful Select reported that Jeff was temporarily written off TV because he was unable to enter Canada, and AEW started a tour of the country.

Matt Hardy previously stated that Jeff suffered a dislocated jaw on the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite. Check out his comments here.
