Jeff Hardy says he is going to be All Elite.
Jeff was released by WWE on December 9 after teaming with Drew McIntyre & King Xavier Woods at a live event on December 4. In the bout, Jeff was reportedly sluggish and left the ringside area after tagging out. He was sent home on December 5.
Lately, Jeff has been announced for multiple Independent wrestling events, though many have been wondering if he could be joining his brother Matt in AEW. Well, while speaking with Jared Myers prior to his own concert, Jeff seemed to confirm as much.
"I'm going to AEW. I'm so excited... I'm so nervous and excited," he said.
During a recent episode of his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt shared that Jeff's non-compete clause expires March 9 and that he will be free to do whatever he wants beginning on the 10th. Until then, of course, nothing can be officially announced.
Elsewhere during the backstage interview, Jeff shares that he hopes to one day return to WWE.
AEW has been bolstering their roster as of late, adding the likes of Keith Lee and Buddy Murphy
