Jeff Hardy Reveals Length Of WWE Contract, Getting 'No More Words' Back As Part Of The Deal

Jeff Hardy will be sticking around WWE for at least another year.

In September 2020, PWInsider reported Jeff Hardy's new contract with WWE was "closer to two to three years in length and not five years."

In an interview with BT Sport, Hardy revealed that he signed a two-year deal with the company and getting No More Words back was part of the deal.

"That was the deal when I re-signed. I was like, 'I'll sign for two years as long as I get my old theme back called No More Words.' We came to find that they owned the song so there was no reason I couldn't. My first night in front of a live audience, I got it back and it's just like it never left. It was so powerful. I think [WWE] realized, 'Yeah, that was a good decision,'" he said.

When asked what would have happened if the crowd didn't recognize No More Words, Hardy booed and then replied, "I would say, 'I was wrong.' Everything worked out great and I'm happy it worked out the way it did."

"No More Words" officially returned on the July 19 episode of WWE Raw.

Hardy will be part of Team SmackDown at WWE Survivor Series. You can view the current lineup for WWE Survivor Series by clicking here.
