Jeff Jarrett comments on the upcoming match between Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson at AEW Grand Slam.
At AEW All In 2024, Nigel McGuinness competed in the Casino Gauntlet at Wembley Stadium. This was his first match in over a decade following a self-imposed retirement in 2011. Now, if Bryan Danielson is medically cleared, Nigel will face his greatest rival again at AEW Grand Slam in Queens, New York.
Jeff Jarrett commented on this match during a recent livestream edition of his My World podcast. In Jarrett's opinion, there's no way McGuinness is coming back to lose to Danielson.
"With Bryan capturing the title [at AEW All In], all the bells and whistles that went with it, with his wife and children in the ring... Man, what a way to what a way to cap that story," said Jarrett. "For him to be diving right back in under this scenario and the history that Nigel — I was a part of the Casino Gauntlet when he walked out Wembley, and I believe he told Karen afterward, it was, I'll say, a 'one-and-done,' but here we are. I just think at the end of the day, if the doctors were [to clear Danielson], that's going to definitely kind of dive into some part of it. I just don't think Nigel is coming back for an L."
