At AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen, Jeff Jarrett announced that he had re-signed with AEW, and he declared for the Casino Gauntlet Match on the January 8th episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW then announced that Jeff Jarrett would be in action on the January 4th episode of AEW Collision. His opponent was not named in the announcement.
