Jeff Jarrett talks MJF.
Coming off their segment on the January 15 edition of AEW Dynamite, many fans have been talking about MJF, Jeff Jarrett, and the rivalry that is consuming both of them. Regardless of the mixed response to the segment and the feud as a whole, Jeff Jarrett is locked in, stating that he's well aware of MJF's verbal tactics.
On the latest edition of his My World podcast, Jarrett talked about his recent segment with MJF, teasing that he will have a few more receipts coming.
“I kind of went back and forth on just giving MJF even the most little bit of rebuttal of his nonsense. You kind of go over the history of MJF, whether it’s Adam Cole, or Punk, or any of his feuds, he’s likes to verbally joust and to me, it’s passe. He wants to go there, I’ll go there and much further. Like I told him in the promo, that may be one of the truest lines that I’ll ever tell, old Max, I was you because you were you. I’m very curious to see where all of this goes. I knew from my statement on January 1 was going to ruffle some feathers, I actually didn’t think it would ruffle his feathers the most, but it has. He got a little bit of a receipt, he’ll have a few more coming. He covered his eyes up like a little bitch and I guarantee his knuckles are as sore as his eye was."
Jarrett continued on and said that he believes MJF has lost his way.
“We have both talked offline, we really believe he is an incredible talent, but I think he’s lost his way. I’ll just say that. The one hit wonder line stuck and to me, it’s more appropriate than I thought, but I said it almost tongue and cheek. But man, I believe he’s lost his way.”
