Jessi Kamea Released By WWE, Kamea Issues A Statement

Jessi Kamea has been released by WWE.

The news of the NXT Superstar's release was confirmed on Thursday, November 4, 2021, by Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp.

Kamea made her NXT debut at a live event in October 2017 (then called Jessie Elaban). She would also participate in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, losing in the first round to Tay Conti. In addition to NXT, Jessi has also worked matches for Evolve, on Main Event, and at the 2019 Worlds Collide event.

During the summer of 2021, she was a part of The Robert Stone Brand along with Aliyah and Franky Monet. Her last match was on August 24th against the former NXT Women's Champion, Raquel Gonzalez.
