Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) made their WWE debuts on Friday's WWE SmackDown, defeating Los Garzas (Angel & Berto) and A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) in a triple threat tag team match.
MCMG are one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling history, winning gold in TNA, ROH, NJPW, and various independent promotions.
The Usos are one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history, and Jey would love to face MCMG inside a WWE ring.
"I would like to – and if I did go with the Motor City Machine Guns. I would like, I would like for my brother to do [it with me]," Jey told Alistair McGeorge of Metro. "I would like to do it with Jimmy because I feel like with Jimmy -Sami [Zayn] is easy too, but I feel like with Jimmy, man, we are the best tag team in the world. We’ve done everything. But I feel like if we did have a comeback, man, I would like to run with those guys [Shelley and Sabin], a couple guys from NXT, maybe the Lucha Bros. But they gotta walk through this door."
Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) are currently signed to AEW.
On WWE TV, Jimmy and Jey are split with Jey holding the WWE Intercontinental Championship on WWE Raw and Jimmy aligning with Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown. Jimmy has looked to Jey for help against the new Bloodline of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, & Tonga Loa.
Jey will defend the WWE Intercontinental Title against Bron Breakker on WWE Raw.
