Jim Ross has high hopes for Paige as a non-wrestler.
Three weeks ago, Paige announced she would be leaving wrestling due to injury on Raw. The next night on Smackdown she was introduced as the new Smackdown General Manager after Daniel Bryan stepped down. On The Jim Ross Report, the host shared his thoughts on Paige's new career path and what he sees in the future for the former champion.
"She is the new Smackdown General Manager. She has a second chance. I really think the world of this young lady. She's a beautiful young woman, she has a lot of skill, a lot of natural instincts, and great enthusiasm. She has 'it,'" said Ross."Unfortunately, she's not going to be wrestling any more. But that does not mean she can't be a star," he continued.
Ross went on to say he's "pulling like hell" for Paige and is convinced she can have a long and successful career without wrestling.
