Jim Ross says he's getting better, but he's not coming back yet.
Jim Ross previously stated that he would be taking a few weeks off in order to heal his leg wound. Ross is part of the commentary team for AEW Collision, and he also makes appearances on AEW Dynamite and AEW pay-per-views.
Speaking on Grilling JR, Jim Ross provided an update and noted that he will be off for a few more weeks.
“I’m pretty good, Conrad. Had a busy week at the doctors’, and trying to get all these little things taken care of. They’re not little things if you let them go. So anyway, I’m getting better, I think. Still gonna be off work for a few more weeks, and then we’ll just move on, and hopefully it’ll work out. I had a long doctor’s meeting yesterday, over two hours. You know how it goes. Getting old is the shits," Ross said.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Jim Ross will return to AEW programming.
Fightful wishes Jim Ross well in his recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
