Jim Ross Would Like To See Powerhouse Hobbs And Wardlow On TV More Consistently

Jim Ross thinks two hosses have been underutilized in AEW.

Powerhouse Hobbs and Wardlow have traded the AEW TNT Championship throughout 2023, but Jim Ross would like to see more of them on television.

During a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, Ross was asked who in AEW might be a bit underutilized.

"Probably Powerhouse Hobbs," he said. "I'd like to see more, consistently, more of him and Wardlow. Two guys I have my eyes on. We have a lot of guys who are really close to breaking through to the next level, which is great. They're learning and getting better. That's their obligation. They work a great schedule. They have a chance to work out, train, and take care of their bodies when they're off. They don't travel as much as other companies. I like where we're headed as far as the young guys are concerned."

Wardlow defeated Christian Cage in a ladder match to retain the AEW TNT Title at AEW Double or Nothing. He is currently aligned with Arn Anderson on TV.

Hobbs was not part of AEW Double or Nothing, but is aligned with QT Marshall on TV.
