The Modern-Day Maharaja makes a statement at WWE NXT New Year's Evil.
The planned match between Indus Sher's Veer and Sanga and The Creed Brothers, Julius and Brutus Creed, never got underway at New Year's Evil. Sanga came out for the match on his own and said that Veer was not in the building.
However, it did not matter as Jinder Mahal, former WWE Champion, arrived on the scene. He would attack The Creeds, with Sanga, from behind and then announce to the audience that while Indus Sher fights for honor and respect, he does not.

Later in the show, Sanga and Jinder walked backstage, and Valentina Feroz approached Sanga. Sanga simply told her that this was who he really was before he walked away.
Eventually, a singles match would be made between Mahal and Julius Creed and the former WWE Champion would pick up the victory.

In the past, Jinder has been paired with Veer and Shanky during the summer of 2021. Then, they all went their separate ways.
