Joaquin Wilde moves on to the next round.
A new Number One Contender's Tournament began on the July 31st episode of WWE Speed, as Joaquin Wilde faced NXT Tag Team Champion Axiom.
Joaquin Wilde and Axiom battled back and forth in a fast-paced bout. Wilde took control and dropped Axiom with a face-buster. He dove onto Axiom at ringside. Axiom rallied with a German suplex on the apron. Axiom and Fraser traded blows, and in the end, Wilde hit a superkick and a 450 splash for the win.

With the win, Wilde advanced to the next round. The tournament will continue on the August 2nd episode of WWE Speed, where Pete Dunne will face Julius Creed. On the other side of the bracket, Montez Ford will battle Austin Theory, and Je'Von Evans will take on Ashante "Thee" Adonis.
Andrade is the reigning WWE Speed Champion; he previously beat Ricochet to win the gold.
