The landscape of IMPACT Wrestling is shaken up once again.
After Cousin Jake failed to defeat Rohit Raju and capture the X-Division Championship at IMPACT Turning Point, Eric Young arrived on the scene and brought with him a hard-hitting veteran pro wrestler in Joe Doering. Doering came in and laid out both Cousin Jake and Cody Deaner.

Joe Doering had made brief sporadic appearances in IMPACT Wrestling and was also briefly contracted to WWE a decade ago, but most of his time inside of the squared circle has taken place in All Japan Pro-Wrestling. In AJPW, Doering has captured the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship twice and is a four-time Tag Team Champion including one reign with Keiji Mutoh, also known as The Great Muta.
The last time Eric Young was seen in IMPACT Wrestling, he was standing side-by-side with Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan. This week, Shamrock and Callihan formed a bond with Chris Bey.
