- Tonight's episode of NXT 2.0 began with Kay Lee Ray defeating Dakota Kai in a WarGames Advantage Ladder Match. As a result, Kay Lee Ray, Io Shirai, Cora Jade, and Raquel Gonzalez will have the advantage over Toxic Attraction and Dakota Kai when they meet this Sunday at WarGames.

- Cameron Grimes and Duke Hudson are set to face off at WarGames in a Hair vs. Hair match. Tonight, Hudson presented a slideshow with a number of images showing Grimes with various unflattering haircuts.

- Von Wagner and Kyle O'Reilly defeated Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde to become the Number One Contenders to the Tag Titles. Halfway through the match, Xyon Quinn came to ringside and started fighting with Santos Escobar. It was revealed later that they will face each other next week.

- Diamond Mine crashed Joe Gacy's All-Inclusive Invitational, but it was Gacy who left with the upper hand heading into his Cruiserweight Title match against Roderick Strong at WarGames.

- Indi Hartwell received a phone call from the hospital that said that Dexter Lumis was no longer there. She a Persia Pirotta had a match coming up next, so she headed to the ring distracted and worried about his whereabouts. Luckily, Persia was able to pick up the slack and earn her team a victory.
