Joe Hendry: Is It Out Of The Question To Think The TNA Champion Could Show Up At WrestleMania?

Joe Hendry appeared in the WWE men's Royal Rumble, representing TNA Wrestling as the TNA Champion. He was eliminated by Roman Reigns in the match.

WWE and TNA have a partnership that will see TNA and WWE talent crossover, with NXT talent appearing on TNA iMPACT! and TNA talent appearing on NXT.

After his Rumble appearance, Joe Hendry is thinking larger than NXT.

"To be completely truthful, I don't know the inner details and I think that's the best way to do it because it's exciting," Hendry told Ariel Helwani on the Ariel Helwani Show. "You find out these opportunities, and people show up, and it's exciting for us as the roster because we're seeing people we weren't expecting show up in different places. Behind the scenes, we don't know what's going to happen next. We're sharing a lot of excitement with the fans. We saw that, yes, the partnership is with TNA and NXT, but I was able to go to the Rumble. Is it that out of the question to think that maybe the TNA Champion could show up on WrestleMania? Is it that crazy? The reaction we got at the Rumble, who knows."

Hendry challenged for the NXT Championship at NXT No Mercy 2024.

Elsewhere during the interview, Hendry discussed a potential match with John Cena. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
