Did Joe Hendry help the Florida Panthers win the Stanley Cup?
Say his name and he appears, fans believed in Carter Verhaeghe during Game 7 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers.
Verhaeghe got the scoring started for Florida, who went on to win the game 2-1 to secure the first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
After Verhaeghe's goal, a fan was shown in the crowd with the sign, "Say his name and he appears. I believe in Verhaeghe."

Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance on last Tuesday's NXT, competing in the 25-man battle royal. His time in the battle royal was short-lived, but his appearance did big numbers on social media.
