John Cena and Cody Rhodes kick off Raw again.
Cena was the first one out, coming out to his usual mixed reaction. Before he could get a single word out, Cody Rhodes hit the ring to a massive ovation, with the London crowd signing his theme song.
Rhodes got right to business, taunting some of the online discourse about him not being able to match Cena on the mic. Rhodes then gave Cena the chance to make fun of him, listing off his lisp and his neck tattoo as possible candidates.
Then, 'The American Nightmare' accused Cena of lieing during his past two promos. Cena responded by saying he isn't going to lower himself to his level before turning on his nuclear mode, saying that he's going to bury Rhodes like he buried everyone else.
Cena proceeded to reveal that Rhodes used to be a chauffeur for Cena, accusing him of stealing secerts for years and years. Cena told Rhodes that him holding the title disgusts him, primarily because he's too polished and relies on lazy gimmicks like a generic mix of every wrestler.
Then, Cena continued to flame Rhodes, saying that he's a common fan and a nepo baby.
Rhodes fired back in a big way, reminding Cena that the company doesn't even talk about the guy that chose him anymore, referencing Vince McMahon. Rhodes then called Cena a company creation before saying that he has more dick in this promo than he does in his jorts.
Following that, Rhodes reminded Cena that he sold out to The Rock before noting that he is still his hero despite being a piece of shit. This prompted the London crowd to chant "piece of shit" at Cena.
Cena responded back by stating that WWE has yet to find someone that is worthy and capable of putting him in the ground. Things went even futher, with Cena saying that he always finds a way to make greatness out of everything that he's given before reminding Rhodes that he had to leave to create buzz for himself.
The legend proceeded to brag about his ability to create empires for billionaires, firing at Rhodes for stealing money from the kids of billionaires, referencing Tony Khan.
Before Cena could walk away, Rhodes got the last word, reminding Cena that the fans have never told him that he can't wrestle. Cena got back in the ring and tried to swing on Rhodes, but the champion was able to nail him with a Cross Rhodes to bring the segment to an end.
