John Cena: I'm Going To Retire, But They'll Have To Fire Me To Get Me To Stop Being Part Of WWE

John Cena kicked off his farewell tour at WWE Raw on Netflix premiere, announcing his intention to compete in the men's WWE Royal Rumble.

Cena has already been announced for WWE Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 41. He will wrestle dozens of times throughout 2025 before finishing his career in December.

Speaking at the post-show press conference, Cena praised the partnership with Netflix and then made the following statement.

"I love the WWE, as you all know. I know I'm going to retire, but they will have to fire to get me to stop being a part of this place," he said.

Cena has said that while he will hang up his jorts at the end of the year, he will continue to be an ambassador for WWE.
