John Cena names the professional wrestlers he believes fall into the category of Greatest of All Time.
For many wrestling fans, Cena himself falls into the category, with many believing that he is the GOAT. However, Cena himself remains humble in this regard, believing that he never was the guy.
While speaking to Insight with Chris Van Vliet in a recent interview, Cena stated that there was 'not a chance' in his opinion that he is in fact The GOAT.
"I’m saying that what we do is objective. I can’t fault anyone’s opinion. If you’re asking for mine, not a chance."
Cena was then asked to name who he feels is in the conversation for Greatest Of All Time, naming Roman Reigns, Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin as talent he believes falls into that category.
"I would say people who elevate the business to new heights from a performance standpoint. This is just my perspective, and we’re talking objectivity. It’s only opinion, there is no truth to what I’m saying. Hulk Hogan would have to be in there. Steve Austin, Dwayne Johnson, and Roman Reigns. When the company went public, I think they started trade at 32. My tenure kind of helped everybody put the pieces back together again, and Roman has done a fantastic job of taking the business to heights it’s never been to before."
Cena has not been on WWE television since losing to Solo Sikoa at WWE Crown Jewel 2023.
Roman Reigns is currently set to wrestle on both night one and night two of WrestleMania 40. You can read more about that here.
