Cena admits that he does not like the hairstyle.
Former 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena has been out of the United States for the greater portion of 2018. Cena was off in China partaking in the filming of Jackie Chan's action thriller 'Project X'. Prior to October 6th at WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia, Cena wrestled at a WWE Live Event on September 1st in Shanghai and when Cena returned to live WWE programming at Super Show-Down, social media started buzzing and talking about Cena's new haircut as he had grown it out for the Jackie Chan movie.

John Cena shared that he is not too fond of the hairstyle either and stated that when he joined The Ellen DeGeneres Show today: (H/T to Hollywood Life)
“Why not embrace the uncomfortable for once?” John explained, “It’s totally uncomfortable. I just want to go get my eight dollar haircut and now I’m throwing product in my head. I don’t know what I’m doing. I went to film a movie in China and the movie was six months long, and I left with a buzz cut and came back with this,” he revealed. “And everyone was like…'You ruined my childhood'. So I’m just trying to figure my life out and my haircut and it’s like… 'You ruined my life'. So it’s kind of weird. It was a great exercise in embracing the uncomfortable because apparently I’ve altered the space/time continuum and it’s cool to be able to just try something new.” Cena jokingly said.
Cena will be back in action for WWE's Holiday tour at the end of the month where he will team up with Finn Balor to take on Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler at Madison Square Garden on December 26th.
